Airbus used a 3D printer to build an electric motorcycle | cloud | Scoop.it
Airbus subsidiary APWorks recently used a 3D printer to build a $50,000 electric motorcycle.
Pál Kerékfy's insight:

Szinte súlytalan ez a 90-nel repesztő 3D-nyomtatóban készült motor. Hamarosan ilyeneket nyomattunk otthon?

First 3D Printing Restaurant Begins World Tour in the Netherlands - 3D Printing Industry

First 3D Printing Restaurant Begins World Tour in the Netherlands - 3D Printing Industry | cloud | Scoop.it
Last year, Dutch 3D printer manufacturer byFlow showed the world that its Focus 3D printer is not just portable, but delectable as well by 3D printing desserts at the Albert Hejin (AH XL) supermarket in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Their technology was further demonstrated at the 3D Printshows in Paris, Rome, Madrid, London and Berlin. byFlow …

The delicious Dutch manufacturer has now announced that they will be taking their pop-up restaurant on a global tour, forming a new 3D printed food organization called Food Ink that will see a number of international designers, chefs, and technologists from London, Barcelona and Maastricht opening temporary 3D printing restaurants in various locations around the world.

The US Army wants to 3D-print customized food for soldiers

The US Army wants to 3D-print customized food for soldiers | cloud | Scoop.it

With today's 3-d printers, something simple like a protein bar with peanut butter filling covered in chocolate can be made in about 30 minutes.

This is a wild concept.

Pál Kerékfy's insight:

Az amerikai hadsereg azt tervezi, hogy 10-15 éven belül 3D nyomtatókkal fogják a harctéren előállítani minden egyes katona számára a neki pillanatnyilag optimális táplálékot.
Izgalmasan hangzik! Persze, ha akkor még lesznek humán katonák...
